Our programs are designed to give students the confidence needed to recognize, and respond to, real life threatening emergencies and the skills that can save lives.

We are dedicated to training the general public in CPR/AED with the goal of increasing survival rates for victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest which claims the lives of approximately 400,000 people in the U.S. every year.

We offer both Private and Group sessions.

We offer almost all of our courses in both Original and Refresher Formats.

Our programs include, but are not limited to:

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Course:

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an AED on adults and children, and relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction in responsive and nonresponsive victims. The course is designed for healthcare providers who care for patients both in and out of hospital.

American Heart Association HeartSaver AED:

The HeartSaver AED course teaches CPR, AED for all ages, relief of choking in adults, children, and infant and use of barrier devices. This course is ideal for any community or corporate member that needs or wants to learn CPR and how to operate an AED.

American Heart Association HeartSaver First Aid:

Heartsaver First Aid is a course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

Please note- a valid CPR card is necessary to take this course.  Don't have one? Not a problem, we offer classes that include CPR and First Aid training as well as discounts for taking more than one of our courses at a time.

American Red Cross Responding To Emergencies (Comprehensive First Aid/CPR/AED:

The program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This program is designed primarily for use in secondary schools, colleges, universities and other settings that require a curriculum of greater length than the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Program.

American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers:

The purpose of the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) course is to ensure that individuals with a duty to respond (public safety professionals and healthcare providers) have the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. The course emphasizes active, hands-on learning and uses scenario activities to help participants learn how to provide CPR, use an AED and relieve an obstructed airway for adult, child and infant patients. 

American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers:

The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers program is to train professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. This program is offered in traditional classroom or blended learning (online learning with instructor-led skill session) formats. 

American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED:

The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. This program offers a choice of first aid, CPR and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience and is offered in traditional classroom or blended learning (online learning with instructor-led skill session) formats. Prerequisites Participants in AED-only courses must have current Red Cross certification or the equivalent.

American Red Cross Emergency Medical Response:

To provide participants the knowledge and skills necessary to work as an emergency medical responder (EMR) to help sustain life, reduce pain and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until more advanced medical personnel take over. The course content and activities will prepare you to make appropriate decisions about the care to provide in a medical emergency. The course teaches the skills an EMR needs to act as a crucial link in the emergency medical services (EMS) system.

American Red Cross Lifeguarding Courses

National Safety Council First Responders Course:

This course exceeds the current U.S. Department of Transportation National First Responder Curriculum—delivering the 2010 CPR and ECC Guideline essentials for emergency response teams, safety personnel, fire, police and ambulance personnel, EMS professionals and health care providers.

National Safety Council Bloodborne & Airborne Pathogens:

This course is designed for individuals who may come in contact with infectious materials as part of their job as responders, healthcare professionals, lab technicians, dentists, dental hygienists, fire, police, ambulance, EMS, etc., this course addresses issues in disease transmission, prevention, universal precautions, exposure control, labeling, exposure determination and influenza pandemic.
